Singapore hokkien mee

Singapore hokkien mee

I’ve been to the eating place at Bukit Batok St. 11 a few times now, mostly during weekends for lunch. Besides the lor mee, the hokkien mee is pretty good too. Unlike in most part of Malaysia, the hokkien mee is as shown, whereas the version in Malaysia is the black sauce version with thick noodles.

This version at this stall pretty nice. So good that they charge $0.50 if you ask for more chillies….
I’m gonna give it a rating of….7/10

the malaysian hokkien mee you were talking about is that one in KL. in Penang, you have the other type that was widely known as ‘prawn mee’. but local penangites call it ‘hokkien mee’ nevertheless.
